This is the start page for the study of Core Python Programming by Wesley Chun.
If you want to be a part of the group, just email me at david @ linuxcrazy . com.
Because of spam I must register you for the wiki. So email me with your username and password. For the forum you can register but I will need to approve it.
We will see how the pace is, but I am thinking a chapter every two weeks but it is your group so whatever the group wants will be done, I am only here to help out. I will be going through the book also and I am still a beginner myself. I would suggest checking out the Tutor mail list and use it for any question the group can not answer or answer fast enough.
Its a self study group, we will go through the book together, so you can do it at whatever time is best for you. You will need to invest in the Book.
Then ask questions on the forum or irc and post your work / examples on the Wiki.
